PROFILE

I have been around this business my whole life having grown up as the son of a golf course superintendent. My career started when I was thirteen, going to work everyday with my Dad, who is the Superintendent at Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield, CT. Working alongside my Dad gave me the drive and passion to succeed in this business. When the time came to enroll for college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in golf. So, I studied turfgrass science at Virgina Tech. During college, I had the opportunity to perform three internships in the highly-demanding New York City area.

Upon graduation from Virginia Tech, I was hired as an Assistant Superintendent at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, MI. There, I played an integral role on a team designed to maintain a Top-100 championship golf course. My time at Oakland Hills also included hosting the 2002 United States Amateur Championship and the 2004 Ryder Cup Matches. This valuable experience enlightened me in regards to the rigors involved with the professional game and the details it takes to deliver conditions worthy of a championship.

After three great years in Michigan, I moved back to New York and was hired as the Assistant Superintendent at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. My time at Westchester was an incredible experience, maintaining the highest quality standards each and every day. I continued to hone my management and agronomic skills for five years, and expanded my tournament experience to include several more PGA Tour events.

My dedication and strong work experience paid off as I was rewarded my first Golf Course Superintendent position at Concord Country Club in 2010. I am excited to be responsible for Concord’s 200-acre golf facility and I look forward to the challenge each day of maintaining course conditions to exceed the standards of the Club.  I feel a great sense of pride in striving to maintain one of the best Donald Ross designed golf courses in New England.
