The ability to manage golf course improvement projects is an important role of the superintendent. The golf course is an ever-changing environment and requires constant review and adjustment to maintain proper conditions.

I have had the opportunity to be associated with several renovations and many smaller in-house projects as well. Some of this experience is highlighted below.

- Integral member of a team to design, permit, and construct a $2.5M Grounds and Environmental Management Center;
  completed in May 2012.

- Aided in the implementation of the ‘XGD’ greens drainage system   on two golf courses.

- Contributed to the course renovations for the 2004 Ryder Cup, including tee construction, drainage, tree relocation,
  and other course improvements.
